The stand carved for Dylluan contains elegant patterns evoking Dylluan’s feathers, while the post is shaped very much like one of her feet, but with elaborate spiral patterns carved up and down its length. The stand is a square shaped ledge, comfortable and solid enough that if Dylluan ever wanted to have an owl-friend or two visiting, they could probably snooze together.
Upon careful inspection, you might see that beneath the stand is a drawer, one that is wide enough and tall enough to contain a reasonably thick book. You wonder if you should try to open the drawer.
